The NEAA is a strong believer in partnership and collaborative working with both industry and relevant public sector organisations such as the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and its programmes including the Business Growth Service, Department for International Trade (DIT), Automotive Investment Organisation (AIO), UK Business Bank & Innovate UK, as well as the Automotive Council and the Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC).
The NEAA sits on 10 industry steering groups from Skills Board NELEP, Supply Chain Group Automotive Council, to BEIS Skills Group.
The NEAA also looks to work with and support local Universities, councils and Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs), including the Growth Hub for the benefit of its members, SMEs and the wider community.
Working with relevant trade organisations including the SMMT, EEF, RTC North, AMF, NEPIC, NOF, Generator NE and SEMTA, the NEAA looks to strengthen its network and promote the regions capabilities.
The North East Automotive Alliance (NEAA) is established to support the economic sustainable growth and competitiveness of the automotive sector in the North East of England. The NEAA provides a single unified voice to key stakeholder groups and promotes the true value created by the region's automotive industry.
