Having started in 1999 and 2002 respectively, AutoScan and e-ppl were originally two separate companies, primarily supporting the Automotive Industry, with differing but compatible skilled service provisions.

In 2011, e-ppl purchased AutoScan to form the e-ppl Group, becoming a combined provider of the broadest scope of skilled services ranging from Component & Vehicle Quality Containment, inspection and Quality Engineering, through to highly skilled complete vehicle reworks and prototype builds.

AutoScan India was formed in 2016 to support Customer needs and further expand our global capabilities.

Our support is flexible, providing skilled and managed teams to support your own resource at critical times, ensuring you can deliver your products and projects on time and to the correct quality requirements.

We are extremely passionate about how we deliver our services, ensuring the highest levels of professionalism, response and integration within your processes, whilst working to our own ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO27001 accredited processes and standards.

Our growth through reputation has seen us continue to support the Automotive Industry whilst also expanding and transferring our services into new sectors including off-highway, commercial, domestic, retail and medical.

As the Automotive Sector transitions towards electrification and beyond, we have invested heavily in our EV training and up-skilling, as well as developing our own in-house Electric Vehicle Safe Systems of Work to ensure we are a safe and competent support partner for Customers.

Our 1000+ strong team across our group of businesses supports throughout the UK, India and internationally as required, with 5 offices including one right here in the North East which is ready to support manufacturers and suppliers both here in the North East or beyond.
