Gate 7 produces a range of printed materials for the automotive sector, including vehicle and body liveries, control panel fascias and safety and warning decals.

Founded in 2000, the company started life in Gateshead as a specialist supplier of printed products to the industrial automotive market. In addition to the Gateshead site, it also has a second manufacturing plant in Pennsylvania in the US. The two plants supply printed materials to customers across the UK, US, Europe and Asia. In 2007, Gate 7’s success as an exporter was recognised with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise (International Trade).

Gate 7 offers a full service to clients, from R&D, to creating prototypes, design engineering and project management, handling a product from concept to completion. These products are created using screen printing and digital technologies on a variety of base materials ranging from aluminium to self-adhesive vinyl, polyester and stainless steel. Each surface and process is rigorously tested to make sure it is up to the job, even in the harshest conditions.

In addition to its core automotive market, Gate 7 has expanded its remit to make printed products for customers in the industrial, construction and agricultural sectors.
