Whitworth House is located less than 100 metres away from Wilde Analysis’ previous base at Brindley Lodge. Following a programme of extensive refurbishment, the new office has a range of facilities, including a large, fully-equipped primary training room for up to 25 delegates, conference and meeting rooms, and staff and client ‘break-out’ areas.
Whitworth House also has dedicated parking facilities for around 35 cars. Formerly known as Fairport House, the nineteenth-century building was renamed following an invitation to Wilde staff to vote for an alternative name.
Sir Joseph Whitworth (1803 -1887) was an engineer born in Stockport and is best known for his development of a rationalised system of screw threads and for the screw threads that bear his name: British Standard Whitworth (BSW). The move is in response to expansion of business at Wilde, with sufficient space to accommodate further growth over the coming years.
As at the previous office, Whitworth House is easily accessible, only 5 minutes from the M60 motorway, less than 1 mile from the train station and 9 miles to Manchester Airport.
“As the Wilde Analysis team continues to grow to meet the high demand for our software and services, we required additional space and facilities,” explains David Deakin, Managing Director at Wilde Analysis Ltd.
“Our aim in designing the new offices has been to provide an environment that meets the needs of our staff as well as visiting clients and training delegates.”
