The Huntingdon based business’s design team, under Director of Sales and Innovation, Justin Kempson, worked extensively with frontline medical staff to fully understand and analyse their needs. The result has been a simple, cost effective visor manufactured using recycled plastic that is designed to maximise comfort when worn for extended periods. At end of use, the visors are easily recycled thus avoiding waste plastics going into landfill or polluting rivers and oceans.
In addition, Charpak has introduced a surgical face mask clip designed to be worn on the back of the head, relieving pressure and pain in the ears following reports from medical staff. Having been proven in the most demanding medical environment, Charpak face visors are now available for sale both direct from the factory and through a network of distributors.

Recent innovations have allowed Charpak to produce re-usable and recyclable cost-effective rigid packaging to enormously exacting tolerances. This enables customers to fully integrate robotic manipulation into their processes, resulting in significant productivity gains. Recent applications include the manufacture of lithium ion battery packs and electric vehicle components.
