The North East Automotive Alliance (NEAA), who organise the annual expo, are delighted to welcome members of the Automotive Council Supply Chain Group, which was established to build consensus on the challenges facing UK automotive supply chain companies and to deliver a number of targeted actions to improve the long-term competitiveness and capacity of the UK automotive supply chain.
The group includes companies such as the Department for International Trade (DiT) Automotive Sector Team, Advanced Propulsion Centre UK, Aston Martin, Honda, JCB, JLR, McLaren, Michelin, Nissan, SMMT, Toyota and Vauxhall.
Paul Butler, CEO of the NEAA said: “The success of the North East Automotive Expo over the previous three years demonstrates the importance of the regions automotive sector and has paved way to attract more and more senior figures from outside of the region. Having members of the Automotive Council come to the North East is a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase what the region has to offer.”
