Sparta Security, have stepped up their game and have now branched into the renewable energy sector with their first 18 month contract with BioConstruct New Energy coming to completion.
Wardley Biogas have constructed a new plant near Follingsby Park, Gateshead which will convert unwanted organic waste into green gas for use across the region’s heat, power and transport sectors.
Daniel Husband, contracts manager of Wardley Bioconstruct new energy , said: “It has been a pleasure to work with Sparta who have always supplied us with professional security guards and K9 dog teams. We recognise the advantages of working with a security business with their depth of understanding of the energy sector and more specifically what the client wants and their work ethic in driving the projects forward has been first class.
Francis Charles-Jones who is the chairman of the Sparta Security group stated “If, items go missing from site it halts the job up so Sparta sat down with Biogas and gave them a security assessment of what the site needs. They listened and from having a good relationship the construction build has ran smoothly & effectively. The creation of Wardley Biogas presents an opportunity for Sparta to add to their renewables resume and with the client EDF renewables also using Sparta adds weight to an ever growing security business."
