Jon Henderson – Head of Sales Born and raised in Scotland, Jon is the proud father of three teenagers. As well as spending time with his family, Jon enjoys playing golf and watching the football. Professionally, he loves meeting people face-to-face and building long-term relationships; for Jon, Microsoft teams is great but there is no substitute for a pat on the back, a smile or that first handshake. In the workplace, he believes culture, constructive conflict and trust are the key components to success. Starting his career in 2007, Jon worked in Financial Services where he recruited, trained, and developed a team of 20 IFAs, achieving Partnership level in 2009. Jon had a change of Direction when, in 2010, he moved into Renewables, where he was mainly involved in Ground Source Heat Pumps and Biomass systems with the highlight being the installation of a District Heating scheme near Glasgow that served 12 large residential properties. In 2017, he sold his business, moved to Japan, and set up an export business focused on importing Japanese cars to the UK. Jon returned to the UK in 2021, after Covid, and was employed by IWG to manage their Southwest region. The vision of Mark and Maria, as well as our company culture were the main drivers in Jon’s decision to join AR Power. We asked Jon how he is settling in, and he stated, ‘Since joining on the 3rd of October, I have been welcomed by the whole team and I am excited for the future’.
