Accountancy firm Azets has made a director promotion at its Wynyard office, forming part of its North East growth plans.
Angela Ingham has taken up the role of audit director where she will support the head of audit for the region.
Having joined the firm in 2000 as a trainee, Ingham has a host of experience working with clients across a range of industries, but specialises in the education sector.
She is also part of Azets’ innovative Ascend: Future Partner programme, which looks to train, mentor and support the development of current and future partners through their journey to becoming advisory specialists.
Andrew Rowe, office managing partner at Azets in Wynyard, said: “I’m delighted to congratulate Angela on her promotion to director. She brings a wealth of experience to the role and her promotion is testament to her hard work and dedication. It also demonstrates the success of our Ascend: Future Partner programme which is committed to the ongoing development of our current and future partners with the potential to achieve success for themselves and for our clients.
“Our dynamic and ambitious audit team across the North East is expanding and Angela will take a leadership role in growing our practice. Her promotion reflects the importance we place on delivering the best service possible to our clients across the region.”
He added: “As part of our growth plans, we’re actively recruiting at all levels. We would encourage ambitious people looking for a career move to contact us, including retired professionals who might want to return to the workplace.”
