Crane management and lifting specialist RS Industrial Services has acquired a counterpart in a deal supported by further investment from the Foresight Group.
ACDC Cranes Ltd provide specialised 24/7 breakdown support, overhead crane repairs and lifting equipment inspections.
The acquisition brings ACDC’s highly skilled engineering workforce into the wider RSIS group, and establishes an operational hub in Sheffield.
ACDC’s clients are expected to benefit from RSIS’s crane parts supply chain and group resources, while the acquisition provides RSIS with a physical launchpad to introduce its expertise into a new region.
The deal is the first bolt-on acquisition for Billingham-based RSIS since Foresight’s investment in 2024 and strengthens the group’s presence in Yorkshire and the Humber.
