Law firm invests in Teesside with permanent office and recruitment drive

A prominent North East law firm has boosted its Teesside presence with a recruitment drive and investment into a permanent new site.

Muckle has taken space at Boaz House in Stockton – a move that marks the firm’s commitment and belief in Teesside and the Tees Valley.

The firm has been working in and around Teesside for many years, but the move to permanent premises marks a new chapter for Muckle.

It will enable lawyers to work more closely with their clients and business partners on Teesside.

Led by partner and head of private client Leah Duffield, real estate partner Rachel List, and corporate partner Oliver Hebdon, the new Stockton office will offer a full scope of legal services.

They are joined by fellow Teessiders – real estate associate Samantha Alderton, private client paralegal Jack Reynolds, PA and officer coordinator Claire Rance, and solicitor apprentice Cassie Woodier.

Leah Duffield said: “Muckle already has a proud history of working with high-profile businesses in Teesside, but the investment in our new Stockton office is our biggest commitment yet. Our new Stockton base brings us even closer to the businesses driving Teesside’s economic growth and the great organisations and individuals we work with. I’m so excited to be able to offer them such a range of legal support right on their doorstep.

“The new team are born and bred Teessiders and are equally keen to share their expertise to help the businesses of this region to thrive.”

Muckle has already worked with a number of businesses in the region, including Teesside International Airport, Wilton Engineering and Tekmar Energy.

Anthony Evans, managing partner of Muckle, added: “We are delighted to have a new permanent base in Stockton for our Teesside team. We have worked with fantastic businesses and organisations in Teesside for some time, so having the opportunity to invest in the region and grow our new team is an exciting prospect for us. We believe in business as a force for good in Teesside, as shown by our partnership with Clean Slate Solutions, and cannot wait to do more.”
