Prominent law firm reports third consecutive year of growth

A prominent North East-headquartered law firm has reported report-breaking financial results for the third consecutive year.

In its latest financial year, Muckle generated turnover of just over £17m, up 4.5 per cent, and a profit of more than £4.2m – an 11 per cent jump.

During the 2023/24 year, growth areas included agriculture, rural estates and private client services, while corporate achieved record turnover with 11 per cent growth.

Dispute resolution saw a 24 per cent increase, while figures also improved by 21 per cent in employment.

The B Corp certified firm also landed a number of regional and national public sector appointments, including reappointment to the NEPO panel and new appointments to the North West Legal Consortium and Pagabo national framework for academy services.

With turnover already 16 per cent ahead of last year’s figures, Muckle is poised for another strong growth year in 2025.
