Leading engineering distributor R. A. Rodriguez (UK) Ltd has expanded its linear technology offering by partnering with Thomson Industries, Inc. (a Regal Rexnord Brand). Thomson specialises in linear motion technology, including ball screws, electric linear actuators and guide rails.
Due to this new partnership, R. A. Rodriguez (UK) Ltd will now be offering Thomson’s Electrak® linear actuators. These linear actuators are popular for use in heavy machinery, material handling, medical devices and factory automation. Electrak XD linear actuators are strong enough to take on hydraulic applications, with low maintenance requirements and consistent, heavy-duty operation. The risk of oil leaks commonly associated with hydraulics is eliminated with electric actuators. They can be easily integrated into existing automation processes, and custom actuators are available upon request.
A. Rodriguez (UK) Ltd will now also be offering Thomson ball screws, trapezoidal screws and lead screws. The range is ideal for both high-precision, small-scale use cases as well as high-load applications. Thomson metric and inch ball screws are manufactured to the highest standards and offer minimal internal friction.
Additionally, Thomson’s range of linear guides will be added to R. A. Rodriguez (UK) Ltd’s product portfolio. This includes the next generation 500 Series ball and roller profile rail linear guides, 400 Series and MicroGuide®. Produced to industry standard dimensions, Thomson profile rails are available in a wide variety of styles and sizes. They can be easily retrofitted into existing set-ups or integrated into new designs.
