Snorkel delivers scissor lift to RS Industrial Services to support fleet upgrade and growth plans
To support RS Industrial Services’ ambitious growth plans, the company is investing heavily in its fleet of scissor lifts, whilst continuing to upgrade its existing fleet.
The plan also supports the significant recent investment made in engineers, which has seen the number of engineers double to over 30 in the last two years.
An engineer from RS Industrial Services spoke with representatives from Snorkel UK at the NEAA’s North East Automotive Expo, which led to a further meeting and a demo unit being supplied by Snorkel UK from its manufacturing site in Washington to RS Industrial Services
APPROACH
RS Industrial Services trialled the demo unit and was highly impressed by its key features:
- Superior build quality.
- Easy loading and unloading for engineers.
- Remote control operation, eliminating the need for two engineers.
Following the successful trial, RS Industrial Services decided to purchase the demo scissor lift. The company also plans to expand its fleet with Snorkel UK’s products as needed.
OUTCOME
RS Industrial Services has:
- Placed an order for a further 2 Scissor lifts in Q1.
- Plans to purchase an additional 6 Scissor lifts this year to support its growth plans.
Snorkel UK has engaged RS Industrial Services to undertake service and repairs on its overhead cranes and lifting equipment.
Both companies are looking forward to strengthening their relationship and supporting each other with their services.
