Unipres hold first Apprenticeship Open Day

On the 2nd March, Unipres held their first Apprenticeship Open Day.

This was to allow potential apprentices to come in and see their factory.

Stephen Simm, Unipres Tutor, gave a presentation about Unipres and gave more information about what is like to be an apprentice.

He then took everyone on a site tour so they could see the different departments that they could be working in.

Afterwards, they got the chance to have a Q&A with some of Unipres’s current apprentices.

Rob Dodds, Training Academy Controller, said; “It was great to see so many people turn up to our Apprenticeship open day which proved to be a great success, everyone who attended was given information on our apprenticeship program and a tour of our facilities.

“This allowed us the chance to show what apprenticeship career opportunities we had to offer. There was also the chance to talk to existing staff and current apprentices who were on hand to share their experiences.”

The Maintenance Apprenticeships are open until the 29th April.
