Advance Northumberland is a unique economic regeneration company, with a clear remit to improve prosperity, quality of life and increase business activity throughout the communities of Northumberland.
As a long-term member of the North East Automotive Alliance, it is once again supporting our annual expo at the Beacon of Light this September as stage sponsor.
Over the years, the Expo has provided a platform for Advance Northumberland to highlight Northumberland-based businesses and their services to a wider network, talking to investors, business leaders and innovators about the development sites, assets and capabilities Northumberland has to offer for growing companies.
It is an exciting time for Northumberland. From renewable energy infrastructure to rural business innovation, advanced manufacturing growth to R&D and digital skills training, Northumberland has a vibrant and diversified economy.
Michael Harriott, senior growth and investment manager at Advance Northumberland, said: “Advance Northumberland is proud to continue our support for the North East Automotive Expo 2022. The high-quality speakers, exhibitors and delegates not only highlights the strength of the cluster, but it also provides a great platform to showcase investment and growth opportunities for electrification companies and supply chain in Northumberland.”
Laura Gage, marketing & PR manager at the North East Automotive Alliance, said: “The NEAA is hugely grateful of the ongoing support Advance Northumberland brings to our annual Expo.
“Following Britishvolt’s decision to build its gigafactory in Cambois near Blyth, Northumberland has made a major imprint on the North East automotive sector and we hope to continue to work with Advance Northumberland to encourage further growth and development in this area.”
