Another plant upgrade completed at Airlane Pneumatics.
Attention was given to making sure everything was fully leak tested as getting to the air feed now means dismantling the panel.
This panel combined three older panels into one centralised unit for ease of maintenance.
Use of CKD 4GB4 valves and air preparation equipment ensures tough, highly reliable components. This reduces down time.
Our use of GRP Panels with Clear doors helps protect from external elements (Won’t rust). This gives a perfect view of all indicators, including LED solenoid indicators, pressure switch & gauge.
Due to the size of panel and number of valves I tried running the air supply underneath the back plate and it seems to have worked. I raised the back plate & drilled through, fitting the air feeds back up into the valve manifolds.
Additionally, colour coded bulkheads help identify pressurised & exhausted lines, panel heaters reduce freezing risk in winter.
