The North East Automotive Alliance (NEAA) is championing an exclusive offer for member companies that will help put more UK-built cars on the road.
In partnership with Lookers Motor Group, one of the UK’s leading automotive retailers representing more than 30 vehicle manufacturers through a nationwide network of dealerships, the NEAA scheme will include offers on British-built Nissan cars, including the highly regarded Qashqai, the compact crossover JUKE and the all-new 100% electric LEAF.
The initiative supports UK manufacturing while giving NEAA members, their families and friends access to competitive offers on some of the country’s most successful home-produced models.
The Qashqai has been designed and built in the UK for the last 20 years and remains one of Nissan’s greatest success stories, combining practical design, everyday usability and innovative technologies developed specifically for European customers.
Since its original launch in 2010, the JUKE has captured the imagination of more than 1.5 million customers across Europe, reshaping the compact crossover segment with its bold and unconventional design.
Meanwhile, the Nissan LEAF continues to play a significant role in the UK’s transition to electric mobility. First introduced in 2011 and built at Nissan Sunderland since 2013, the LEAF helped bring affordable electric motoring to the mainstream and has become the first mass-market electric vehicle to be produced across three generations at a single manufacturing facility.
Supported by Nissan Motor GB Limited and working with Select Lease by Mobilize, the UK leasing brand operated by Mobilize Lease & Co UK Ltd, NEAA members will benefit from access to market-leading business and personal contract hire offers designed to make British-built vehicles more accessible and affordable.
By bringing together the UK’s largest automotive manufacturer, a leading automotive retailer, a specialist leasing provider and one of the UK’s most important automotive clusters, the scheme aims to encourage more motorists to choose vehicles built by the highly skilled workforce at Nissan Sunderland, supporting jobs, investment and the wider UK automotive supply chain.
