The NEAA is the best route to business in the Automotive sector and we are passionate about keeping our members and contacts engaged to help you reach your audience and make valuable connections.
It goes without saying, the more engaged members are, the more value that can be realised. Your NEAA membership is company-wide, so to ensure you are fully maximising this, ensure your teams are aware of the benefits that are available to them. We often find that different functions are more suited to some areas of membership, whilst others can maximise other benefits, and together you manage to cover more ground and gain better exposure.

COLLABORATION
We are a strong believer in partnerships and collaborative working with both industry and relevant public sector organisations.
Here at the NEAA we bring together companies to enable the coordination of activities that have mutual benefit to members whilst offering capability improvement through the sharing of best practices. We have a number of main working groups where members can collaborate and share information to support one another, from Business Resilience to HR to Digitalisation.
We can also help you form consortia by connecting companies and relevant skill sets to support funding applications.
INDUSTRY GROUPS
The NEAA sits on over 14 industry steering groups from the North East MSA Skills Board, Automotive Council Supply Chain Group, to the European Automotive Cluster Network (EACN). We also look to work with and support local Universities, Colleges, and Councils, including the North East MSA, for the benefit of our members, SMEs, and the wider community.
Working with relevant trade organisations including the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), the Advanced of Manufacturing Forum (AMF), North East of England Chamber of Commerce, the Engineering & Manufacturing Network, Innovation Supernetwork, NOF, NEPIC and RTC North, we look to strengthen the network and promote the region’s capabilities.

Solutions were submitted through a structured Expression of Interest process and grouped into four key areas:
